First celebrated in August 2008, International Beer Day takes place annually on the first Friday in August and is celebrated in over 200 cities globally This year we go to Carrickfergus for a few cask ales and a spot of lunch, meeting about 12:30. No doubt an ale in the Crown before the bus home.

Meet up for the 11:20 bus (505) to N/Ards then lunch, chat/banter, cask ales, a bus back just after 4pm with a quick pre-homeward pint in the Crown.
